The approximately 4 km long route starts from the central market, passing by the tourist information, a fragrant herb garden with a Kneipp water-treading facility, the idyllic castle park at Griepensee, and the crystal-clear Schermützelsee. The circular hiking trail provides magnificent views of the lakes and historical villas.

The Brecht-Weigel House, the summer residence of the artistic couple, is a significant literary memorial site with an accessible garden on the shores of Schermützelsee. The Lunapark and Buckowsee offer additional nature experiences, including a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the small town.

The tour concludes with an optional visit to the railway museum and a delightful finish in the gastronomic options around the market. Buckow offers a unique atmosphere that captivates visitors with its landscapes, lakes, and cultural attractions.
