This lovely, comfortable holiday apartment is located just a short walk from the centre of the village of Buckow, in the heart of the Märkische Schweiz region. This picturesque and charming region has a network of hiking trails along the lakes and through gorges known as “Kehlen” in the Märkische Schweiz region. Special vintage elements were incorporated in the design when the attic floor was converted into the holiday apartment in the brick-built house. The building, including the attic floor, has been extended sustainably and ecologically with clay plaster, clay paints and recycled building materials. The energy supply for heating and hot water is also provided ecologically by a central wood-fired gas heating system. The holiday apartment is located in a very quiet area to the rear of the garden with an unobstructed view of the “mountains” of the Märkische Schweiz and along the garden. Access to the spacious terrace of the attic floor apartment is via a separate artistically constructed outside staircase. There is plenty of garden furniture available. Direct access to the holiday apartment is from the terrace. The apartment is bright and spacious, thanks to a dormer with large windows. The kitchen area has everything you need for cooking. The crockery comes from the owner's own ceramic studio, Christine Pfundt. The owner's studio is located on site and can also be visited. Courses are also offered. A ‘turning course on the potter's wheel' can also be attended by prior arrangement. Please book a course in good time before your arrival. Shops, cafés and restaurants, a cinema and the local park are also within easy reach of the holiday apartment. The town has a number of bathing areas during the warmer months of the year. Hiking trails and cycle paths are also close by. The R1 European Cycle Route even passes very close to the property.
