In the two separate parts of the Abbey Museum in the late-Gothic cloister, visitors will learn about the monastery’s history and its interesting role in religious and political events. The two sections are called ‘Ora et Labora’ and ‘Matters of Life and Death’. Valuable exhibits and art objects from the Abbey's equipment are used to illustrate the monastery’s history.
Visitors can explore the cloister and the Abbey Museum in the context of tours or with an audio guide. There is also an audio guide tour for children. The audio guides can be borrowed free of charge. In addition to this, a two-hour workshop for children is offered in the cloister on certain days, including a guided tour for children and hands-on experience in using historic materials.
