The bathing area with the big sunbathing lawn is located on the southern edge of the Alte Eichen peninsula in Lake Scharmützelsee. The lawn is surrounded by trees, and there is an open beach area with lovely views across the lake. A little landing stage and accessible toilets are a few minutes' walk away (Regattaplatz).
