The view point is located between Grunow-Dammendorf and Bremsdorf Mühle in Schlaubetal Nature Reserve above Großer Treppelsee. There is a free car park about 700 metres away.

On a panel you will find information about the history as well as the surrounding area. The visitor has a wonderful view over the lake and the wooded landscape of Schlaubetal Nature Reserve. The Schlaubetal campsite is located on the opposite shore of the Lake Großer Treppelsee. A hike on the Mühlenwanderweg (“mill hiking trail”) leads to an observation hut, and beyond that along Hammersee you reach the historic forester's lodge Siehdichum.
