The park of the 17th century estate was redesigned into a landscape park by Ludwig Lesser around 1910. The historic vistas, groups of plants, rare species of trees and structures have largely survived. The derelict castle is not accessible. It is worth looking around the village church and the farm labourers’ cottages dating from around 1800 around the estate wall.

Of course, a visit to the park is especially fun when the weather is nice. Visitors to the Lindenberg Manor Park can find out how this occurs, as well as a scientific impression of the development of the climate and its effects on our earth, during a detour to the weather museum located about 1 kilometer to the north. There, they will find out all they need to know about watching the weather, measuring the different climatic parameters and the phenomena of climate change. A “climate fence” documents the climate records in Lindenberg over the past 100 years and vividly illustrates the change in our climate over this time.

Year of construction: 17th century
How to get there: Car: A12, take the Storkow or Fürstenwalde/Ost exit, then B246 or 168/L42 to Lindenberg; train: RB36 to Lindenberg
