The varied natural and cultural history of the region between the Dahme, Oder and Spree rivers is presented at the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Reserve visitor centre in Storkow Castle. On three floors, the interactive exhibition “Man and Nature – A Journey through Time” offers visitors a fascinating and engaging experience. Here, young and old alike can learn about the Ice Age, the beauty spots in the region and the history of the castle and town.
The tourist information centre has numerous brochures, maps and souvenirs and also sells regional products. At the Burgstübchen next door you can enjoy culinary delights, and the nature reserve itself offers superb cycling and hiking routes for outdoor enthusiasts.
