Run by falconer Dirk von Bargen this highly popular falconry is set amid farmlands, wetlands and woodlands. It is a unique experience for anyone interested in fascinating birds of prey, including the bald eagle, snow owl, sea eagle, great grey owl, eagle owl, gyrfalcon, tawny owl, golden eagle, spotted eagle owl, steppe eagle, barn owl, red-tailed hawk, ferruginous buzzard, saker falcon, Siberian eagle owl, peregrine falcon and goshawk – “Bird of the Year 2015” – as well as the Harris’s hawks Jimmy and Harry.

The Adler- und Jagdfalkenhof offers air shows and bookable events. A day alone with the falconer can be booked for one bird-of-prey fan with an accompanying person – a truly unforgettable experience. Here you can find out all sorts of interesting facts about the art of falconry. Private festivities (at Adler- und Jagdfalkenhof itself in the case of weddings, birthdays, etc.), a day with the falconer (on the farm and in the surrounding area), a falconry hunt (in the immediate vicinity) or a talk on falconry (at Adler- und Jagdfalkenhof) can be booked with the falconer by telephone. Vouchers are also available for purchase.

Accommodation is available. 2 double rooms with television, shared bath/toilet with bathtub including breakfast can be booked if you wish to enjoy this special atmosphere on an overnight stay.

From April to the end of October, the falconry centre is open to birds-of-prey fans and enthusiasts every weekend and on public holidays. 

Dogs and other pets are not allowed!
