Kunsthaus Hohenwalde is the centre for action, studio and workplace of trained sculptor Astrid Mosch. In her studio, not only does she show works in wood but also graphics and photography. A beautiful sculpture garden behind the Kunsthaus invites you linger and explore.

Woodworking offers: Weekend workshop, three-day workshop, creative one-day and half-day workshops

Small groups receive professional and individual instruction. They work outside, protected by a large rain roof or sun awning. Workbenches and workspaces, all tools and machines as well as the required protective and safety equipment are provided. Material costs for wood and plinths are charged separately. Logs, sections of log and squared wood are processed here, for example linden, beech, pine, fruitwood and oak. Develop a clear design idea, such as a torso, animal, head, vessel, stool etc. or an abstract form.
