The water mill is majestically situated in the middle of the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park in a quiet valley which in 2010 was awarded the Uckermärkischer Tourismuspreis (Uckermark Tourism Prize). Natural cycling and hiking trails start right outside its front door. The quaint atmosphere of the millers' quarters is preserved and combined with all modern conveniences. Six lovingly furnished holiday apartments have been refurbished in an eco-friendly manner, featuring clay walls and hemp insulation material. The apartments sleep between two and six people. Each apartment has a shower bathroom and a kitchen or a kitchenette. The water mill's cosy centre is the fireplace room that is connected to a shared kitchen. The sun terrace by the splattering water wheel and the mill's courtyard are true havens of tranquillity. They are wonderful places to enjoy a good book and a glass of wine. Guests have use of the relaxing sauna. The mill is part of the "Natürlich Uckermark - Ferien fürs Klima" network of sustainable hosts.
