The fully functional monastery water mill from 1754 is a great destination for a day out for young and old all year round. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the ruins of Boitzenburg monastery and was once part if it. The guided tours offered by the monastery miller are a very special experience. The interior of the half-timbered building vividly illustrates how the millers worked and lived, and alternating exhibitions add to this experience.
