Accessible travel

Brandenburg is also easily accessible without a car - by train and bus! Thanks to the dense route network of the Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Association (VBB), you can get to most excursion destinations in the state quickly and easily. This is not only easy on your wallet, but also on the environment - and all with just one ticket: the Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket.

The regional train lines run from Berlin to all of Brandenburg's travel regions in a star shape. At weekends, most trains run at least every two hours, the regional express line RE1 - on the attractive east-west route between Frankfurt (Oder), Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg an der Havel - even every 30 minutes.

Bus routes complement the rail network and take you reliably to places without a rail connection. The train and bus timetables are well coordinated.
