Around the treetop path

The region Fläming owes its name to the Flemings from Belgium, who once colonised this region south of Berlin. Forests and fields, village churches and mills, impressive castles and monasteries characterise the landscape. The best way to experience the Fläming is on one of the many hiking trails or on Europe's longest skating track. Along the way, small towns with historic town centres beckon. The famous Beelitz asparagus and many other delicacies are on offer in farm shops and restaurants.
The Fläming Nature Park can be discovered in an exciting way: The exhibition ‘Knights' castles, rides, giant stones’ invites you to an interactive exploration. With a torch, visitors can track down nocturnal animals, listen into the forest and experience the diverse sounds of nature. They can also make streams and springs bubble and guess animal species that benefit from climate change.

Let's go!
