Brunold was a teacher, regional poet, lyricist and storyteller in Joachimsthal. The columns tell you about the life and work of the poet and about the monument, and you can read biographical, railway and nature poems. Gisbert Amm, who runs the "Lyrikhaus" (house of lyrics) in Joachimsthal, is a big fan of Brunold's literary works, and he has selected some of his best poems for publication and collated details of his life. One of F. Brunold's most famous poems is "Der Werbellin".
