The “Barmin Triangle” tour combined all of the many, typical Brandenburg experiences. So cyclists can experience culture at Chorin Monastery, water along the banks of Lake Werbellinsee and expansive forests at the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve.

How to get there:
  • Train: From Berlin, take the RE3 (Stralsund) to Eberswalde (about 30 minutes).
  • Car: From Berlin, take the B2 to Eberswalde (about 60 minutes).

Route: Eberswalde, Marienwerder, Joachimsthal, Althüttendorf, Chorin, Eberswalde

Possible combinations

  • Berlin-Usedom long distance cycle route
  • Oder-Havel cycle path
  • Tour Brandenburg
  • Uckermärkisch circular cycle path

Trail conditions/surface: The surface is in very good, mostly asphalted, well-developed, as it is mainly makes use of the three existing long distance cycle routes such as the Berlin-Usedom-Stettin cycle path.
