The Oder-Havel Cycle Path offers a beautiful biking experience through the Finow Canal region, linking the rivers Oder and Havel over a 64-kilometer route. Starting in the small town of Liebenwalde, cyclists are guided through the scenic heart of the Finow Valley to Hohensaaten. Along the way, riders can enjoy stunning natural landscapes by the Finow Canal and discover unique cultural landmarks. In and around Eberswalde, highlights include historic industrial sites like the old paper mill, the Finow Water Tower, and the buildings of the brass factory settlement. A major attraction is the old and new Niederfinow boat lifts, an engineering marvel with a 38-meter lift difference, making them a must-see. The route ends in Hohensaaten, where cyclists can connect to the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path.
