The bicycle tour also offer less fit cyclists an active outdoor experience. From Bernau, it runs along the town wall, which was built in the 13th/14th centuries. The bunker in Ladeburg and the area of Lobetal are along the route. The route continues on through Biesenthaler Becken nature conservation area. When passing Langerönner Mill, you can explore the transformation of this Ice Age glacial basin into a nature conservation area. The Biesenthaler Becken landscape alternated between sand dunes, known as kames, and moors. With a little luck, you will hear the call of the crane and kingfisher. In Biesenthal, you can experience a fantastic panoramic view from the Kaiser Friedrich observation tower. A detour to the nearby Lake Wukensee lido offers refreshment. Enjoy a pleasant cycle through Barnim Nature Park. A highlight of the tour is the route section along the Finow Canal.
