The tour is very attractive both in terms of the landscape and historically and this leg really has a lot to offer. Anyone who wants to go on this tour should be in good condition and bring an all-terrain bike.

Start/Finish: Eichhorst

Trail conditions: The tour leads through the northerly region, mainly along forest paths. The path runs along Lake Werbellinsee via Eichhorst and Wildau on the asphalted Berlin-Usedom cycle path.

The cycle tour from Eichhorst leads through the forests of Schorfheide, along the Alteichenpfad trail and Großen Döllnsee Lake, through Lindhorst forestry by Lake Werbellinsee and back to the starting point in Eichhorst. Along the route, there are several sites of historic importance, many of which are marked by memorial stones.

We recommend visiting the “Jagt und Macht” (Hunting and Power) exhibition at the Schorfheide Hunting Lodge in Groß Schönebeck before setting out on this tour. The tourist information centre provides useful information on the trail so you can head off on the tour well informed.
