The village church dating from the 13th century was heavily damaged during the Thirty Years’ War. It was only rebuilt in 1717 when the region was settled by French religious refugees. The church is an important witness to the Huguenot tradition, whose legacy is still alive in the village to this day. The church is part of the French Reformed Church Parish of Groß-Ziethen.

The church is a Gothic cobblestone building. Inside, a square choir adjoins the rectangular church nave. The wood panelled church tower dated from the reconstruction. A copy of a tablet with the Ten Commandments can be seen on the wall to the left of the triumphal arch – the original dating from 1748 is in the Huguenot museum at the Französische Kirche (Huguenot Church) in Berlin for conservation reasons.

The interior once again features warm yellow tones with red and brown accents since it was renovated in 2011 and 2012. The Late Classical pulpit altar dates from the mid-19th century. The west gallery with the organ front also dates from this period. Two memorial plaques commemorate the victims of the war of liberation and the First World War.

The parish hall at Kirchstrasse 10, not far from the church, is home to a small exhibition with photographs on the history of the parish of Groß-Ziethen. For a donation, interested groups of twelve or more persons are given a lecture on the history of the Huguenots in the district.
