Traditionally, the exhibition of the art course of Altenhof invites fans of handmade pictures and all kinds of other unique pieces as well as anyone who happens to walk past.

This beautiful tradition has long become a part of Altenhof's culture. The thirteen women who host the art course showcase "the things that make life beautiful" - the motto of the summer - in their pictures. At the weekends, when the weather is nice, some of the artists are on site offering hands-on activities.

The imaginative painters turned the former GDR newspaper kiosk into an art kiosk many years ago. During the summer, in the open air, they have chats with visitors. The art pavilion is located on the lakeside promenade near the steamboat pier next to the beach café.
