The River Schwärze rushes down a small waterfall in this perfect place to stop for a break under the trees at the riverside. Here there is both space to play and to experience art. The bronze sculpture "Amazone" is the work of Bavarian sculptor Franz von Stuck. It was produced in the 1930s and was placed in the park in 2001. At the entrance to the park there is also a bronze sculpture of the royal forest master and director of the forestry academy, Bernhard Danckelmann (1831–1901). The sculpture was designed by Fritz Heinemann and was unveiled in 1905. "Raubvogel" ("Bird of prey") is a bronze sculpture by Paul Wunderlich, a gift to his hometown in 1998.
