This coffeehouse on the market square serves the original Eberswalde cruller as well as cakes from its in-house confectionery, plus breakfast with regional specialities and small, hearty snacks between meals. The menu also includes burgers with home-made buns and patties from the country butcher’s in Buckow, as well as dishes with organic Uckermark eggs. There is also a wide range of handmade loaves.
The coffee specialities come from Berliner Kaffeerösterei, one of Germany’s last private manufactories. A total of 70 guests can be accommodated in the coffeehouse’s modern environment, while a further 70 guests can take a seat in the outdoor area on the market square. High chairs are available. By the way: the name of the coffeehouse refers to the creator of the Eberswalde cruller, Gustav Louis Zietemann.
