This family-run restaurant, now in its fourth generation, is situated at the heart of the idyllic village of Marienwerder on the edge of the Schorfheide region, and serves hearty home cooking following traditional recipes. Dishes with fresh lettuce are also included in the selection, including roast beef with sauerkraut or dumplings with red cabbage. A range of beers and a superb wine cellar provide the perfect accompaniment to all of the dishes. There are cakes and ice creams for desserts or for a small snack between meals.
The spaces in the historic buildings are of different sizes. A total of 150 people can be served. Car parking and bicycle stations are available, as well as a landing stage on the Oder-Havel Canal for waterborne visitors.
The staff will also be happy to organise charabanc rides and lock visits.
