This hiking tour between Oderberg and the two Lindsee lakes impresses with its varied landscape. In addition to the small. The nature conservation area of Breite Fenn, which you pass through, also has plenty to offer. In this ancient forest you will find old oaks, rare coniferous trees and magnolias.

Start/finish: Oderberg

How to get there:

  • Public transport: Take the RE3 from Berlin central station in the direction of Stralsund / Schwedt (Oder) to Eberswalde main station. From there, continue on by taking Bus 916 in the direction of Oderberg to the Oderberg Stadtmitte stop.

  • Car: From Berlin via the A114 and A11 northwards in the direction of Prenzlau / Szczecin (Stettin) to the junction for Joachimsthal. Onwards via the B198 to Herzsprung. From there, via the L283 and the B158 to Oderberg.

  • Parking: At the end of Brodowiner Strasse

Route: Oderberg, Lake Großer Lindsee, Lake Kleiner Lindsee, Breite Fenn nature conservation area, Großer Stein, Oderberg

Route description:

The tours starts north of Oderberg and leads hikers along a circular trail to the Lindsee lakes and through the Breite Fenn nature conservation area back to the town.

This route is also ideally suited to hiking with dogs. The area is very easy to get to for tourists and the hiking trails are signposted – because of this, it attracts lots of people in good weather but is never overcrowded and you can experience the beautiful natural surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere. Dogs must be kept on the lead in the Breite Fenn nature conservation area.
