On the circular trail by the gated of the village, you can experience the densely forested countryside surrounding Brodowin. The philosophy that “we are here for people, nature and animals” is practised in the eco-village.

Start/finish: Brodowin village church

How to get there:

  • Public transport: Take the RE3 from Berlin central station in the direction of Stralsund / Schwedt (Oder) to Eberswalde main station. From there take Bus 912 to Brodowin via Serwest. The bus does not run at the weekend.

  • Car: From Berlin via the A114 and A11 northwards in the direction of Prenzlau / Szczecin (Stettin) to the junction for Joachimsthal. Onwards via the B198 and along a few country roads to Brodowin.

  • Parking: In Brodowin

Route: Brodowin, Zaun, Revierförsterei Breitefenn, Pehlitz, Dreschberg, Brodowin

Route description:

The tour starts at the village church in Brodowin. During the hike, you pass through the forests around Brodowin where you will find quite a number of lakes and hills. At the end of the tour, Brodowin eco-village and its farm shops invite you to linger for a while.

The route is suitable for hiking with dogs. Dogs will like the leg through the forest in particular.
