The town of Oderberg is well known as a starting point for numerous walks, thanks to its outstanding location and the steep slopes of the Oderbruch.

The circular walk begins in the town centre and leads across meadows and pastures towards the Liepe to the Pimpinellenberg. With its wonderful views of Lake Oderberg and the adjoining Niederoderbruch, this hill is very popular with walkers and nature lovers. At 120 metres above sea level, the hill forms part of the Chorin terminal moraine landscape and has been a protected nature reserve since 1990. Lovers of flora and fauna will find just as much to enjoy here as hikers and nature lovers. There are places to rest by the lime tree in front of the windmill field and on the Pimpinellenberg, inviting you to linger and refuel.

Start / Finish: Car park in the centre of Oderberg, heading towards Liepe
