The Werbellinsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Schorfheide. The Werbellinsee has a depth of 60 metres, the second deepest lake in Brandenburg and a 25-kilometre long walking trail runs around the lake. As a guest of the Fontane Hotel & Restaurant you will be pampered during your stay with excellent service, cultivated hospitality and comfortable living. The lovingly furnished rooms for 1 to 6 persons offer enough space to relax. The Finnish sauna additionally strengthens your immune system and makes you fit again. While the adults find pure relaxation in the sauna, a children's play corner is available on request or a children's play room can also be offered depending on availability. The house also has handicapped accessible rooms. With specialities from the Restaurant Theodors and the fantastic view from the roof terrace onto the Werbellinsee - no wish remains unfulfilled. Theodor Fontane wrote about Lake Werbellin: 'We are sitting at a fairytale place, because we are sitting on the shores of Lake Werbellin.' This 'fairytale place' is in the centre of the biosphere reserve and attracts watersport enthusiasts, anglers and divers.
