The formerly manually operated Ruhlsdorf lock is one of 12 locks in the Finowkanal. The lock will reopen in 2026 after several years of construction. It is automated, i.e. operated by the boaters themselves. There are waiting areas for canoes and sports boats in the upper and lower lock areas.

There is a rest area as well as some car parks.

Location: Fik 59.23 kilometres

Measurements: Lock chamber 41.07 metres long; 9.54 metres wide, upper and lower gate: 5.75 metres wide respectively.

Lift: 1.70 m
