The regional shop ‘Krumme Gurke’ is housed in a former butcher’s, making it a spot well worth seeing in the town. The focus of the products on offer is on short, transparent routes, ecological production, and a social background, including milk from Lobetal to pour out yourself, the tastiest bread rolls in town from the bakery Dellinger, and seasonal vegetables (just about) fresh from the field. Many more products are sold without packaging (chocolate, soap, grain and more), so if possible please bring your own packaging materials. The selection is constantly changing, making a visit well worthwhile at any time of year.
