On about 17 hectares, you can experience the successful interplay between 300 years of industrial history, artistically designed garden architecture and a magical, fairytale landscape that is unique in the region. The witch’s house on chicken legs, the witch’s kitchen in the nettle labyrinth, the giant spider’s web, the flying carpet and much more, play structures lovingly finished down to the smallest detail allow children’s imaginations to run wild and their pulses to race.

The exciting offerings at the green classroom also allow school classes to explore, experience and understand nature in a playful manner with all of their senses. 

Particular highlights include the various gardens, the far-reaching view from the 32 metre-high viewing platform of the Montage-Eber crane, the magical fairytale landscape and exploring the underground service arches by pedal boat.

During the course of the State Garden Show in 2002, LAGA for short, many attractions were restored or even newly built, making the family garden an experience for the whole family once again.

Activities: The Eber crane and viewing platform, pedal boat rides, games, walks, the world’s biggest pocket watch, colourful gardens
