Oderberg has an excellent location on the steep slopes of the Oderbruch region, and is an ideal starting point for all sorts of activities in the local region: Trips on and along historic waterways like the Finowkanal, bicycle tours on the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path, the Oder-Havel Cycle Path and the Tour of Brandenburg, or hikes on the region’s highest peak, the Pimpinellenberg, and in the Unteres Odertal National Park.

The Oderberg tourist information centre is located in the town’s inland shipping museum, Brandenburg’s oldest technology museum. Here guests receive advice and lots of information material on what to do and see in the local region for days out, as well as for short and long holidays.

There is a charging station for e-bikes opposite the tourist information centre.

A highlight of any trip to the museum is viewing the side-paddle streamer ‘RIESA’, built in 1897.
