The Dahme Cycle Path leads through Zernsdorf and Kablow and then branches off into a connecting road to Bindow. There are several information panels along the path setting out the history of the Germanic settlement in the region. The path continues on towards Dolgenbrodt/Märkisch Buchholz, in a wide curve to the Dahme Bridge. The asymmetrical pylon bridge is a slightly over 20 metres high, 168 metres long and is carried by eight cables 75 centimetres in diameter. It is regarded as the landmark for the entire Dahme Cycle Path.

Route description: 

Continue riding straight on along Karl-Marx-Strasse through Niederlehme (no cycle path!) ~ continue along Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse ~ follow Zernsdorfer Strasse as far as the historic Neue Mühle lock ~ turn half left here towards Zernsdorf, then turn right into Küchenmeisterallee ~ past Neue Mühle lido ~ then turn right into Karl-Marx-Strasse ~ continue to follow Friedrich-Engels-Strasse and Kablower Chaussee ~ continue along Zernsdorfer Strasse ~ from Dannenreicher Strasse / corner of Bindower Weg follow the cycle route on the right for 2.5 kilometres ~ through the Skabyer Torfgraben nature conservation area, then along the street Siedlung Nord and Kablower Weg ~ then turn off right and cycle on Bindower Dorfstrasse towards Dolgenbrodt / Märkisch Buchholz ~ turn off towards Bindow Siedlung to the left into the street called Grüne Trift ~ continue along Ernst-Thälmann-Strasse ~ on the left follow Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse to Dolgenbrodt ~ at the junction of Bindower Allee / Blossiner Strasse take a half right along the village meadow ~ before the “Gasthaus Kober” restaurant the meadow path leads to the right in a curve as far as the Dahme Bridge.

On the other side of the river, cycle along Dahmestrasse and Prieroser Strasse over the road to Friedrichsbauhof and An der Dahme to the B 246 Gräbendorfer Allee ~ cross the federal highway and go left over the bridge in Prieros ~ then turn right into the road named An der Dahmebrücke ~ through the town centre, follow the Prieros village meadow and Poststrasse to the Mühlendamm, then turn right there, over the Mühlendamm bridge, continuing straight on following the street Am Waldhaus ~ after the sign marking the end of the town of Prieros, follow the hiking trail and cycle path for about 6.6 kilometres straight through the forest.

At the branch off towards Märkisch Buchholz / Hermsdorfer Mühle, turn left ~ cycle about 3.3 kilometres to the lock and rest area at Hermsdorfer Mühle (mill) ~ before the lock, turn right into the forest in the direction of Märkisch Buchholz / Forsthaus Hammer ~ before the Hammer Forestry building, turn off left ~ at the rest area, take the right-hand forest path through the wood ~ after 800 metres, follow the cycle path along the side of the B 179 as far as Märkisch Buchholz ~ in the town centre, turn right in the direction of Golßen, Teurow, Halbe ~ cross the bridge, on the left you will see the cascade weir system of the Dahme flood canal (6 metres height difference)
