The cycling tour "Minibadehose to Köthener See" shows a particularly beautiful section of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park in the south of the region. With Lake Oderin, Lake Köthen and the picturesquely situated Heideseen, nature lovers and their families in particular will enjoy this challenging bike tour. The tour starts at the regional train station in Oderin. Before taking the road in the direction of Teurow, you can take a look at the village church. Before reaching the small village, the route turns onto the DahmeRadweg in the direction of Oderin Lake, where the first views of the lake and a nice resting place on the shore await.

Following the asphalt DahmeRadweg through the forest, one of the smallest towns in Brandenburg, Märkisch Buchholz, is reached. At the cascade weir in the Dahmeumflutkanal, a break should definitely be taken to listen to the rushing masses of water. A nearby rest area invites you to have a picnic by the water. For a break from playing and exercising, a detour to the children's forest in Märkisch Buchholz is a good idea. The forest playground is only one kilometer away. In the village, in the immediate vicinity of the church, shopping facilities and gastronomy are available for the longer break. After the rest we change to the Hofjagdweg to Köthen. A "mountainous stage" lies ahead of the cyclists. Halfway through the tour, after about 10 kilometers, the beautiful bathing meadow at Lake Köthen rewards with a beautiful bathing meadow, changing rooms and an unobstructed view of Lake Köthen. It is located directly behind the youth hostel. Paddle and pedal boats can also be requested at the youth hostel.

After the bathing stop follows a beautiful section through the forest past the picturesque Heideseen. The partly gravelled path leads close to the observation tower on the Wehlaberg. If time and energy reserves permit, the approximately 0.5-kilometer detour up the mountain is highly recommended. But beware, the slope is not to be underestimated, it is recommended to leave the bikes on the path. The ascent and later descent is rewarded with a unique view. In addition to the impressive dome of Tropical Islands, even the TV Tower in Berlin can be seen on a good day. As an alternative to the described route, you can also switch to the "Gurkenradweg" from Köthen in the direction of Groß Wasserburg. At the Bogenbiwak there is homemade cake and the chance to complete the Bogenparcour. Five additional kilometers and some altitude meters are to be planned.

The route continues along the Gurkenradweg until you reach the Oderin road and start the return journey to Oderin. The gravelled forest and field path of varying quality leads partly downhill. Thus, the remaining 5 kilometers fly by.
