The family bike tour to the natural bathing place at the Zeuthener See starts and ends at the Zeuthen train station. The popular bathing area with playground, volleyball field and sanitary facilities is located near the city limits of Berlin. The short bike loop offers a lot more than just the partly shaded beach of meadow and sand mix. You could think of entering the boat MS Olympia from passenger shipping company "Rolf Fußwinkel". The boat landing stage can be reached in a few minutes via a detour on Goethestrasse. Passengers should announce themselves however before. In the immediate vicinity of the Paul Dessau School in Schulstraße is the unique "Alice in Wonderland" playground. A play stop, even if shortly after the start of the bike tour, must definitely be planned.

A visit to the hidden Chinese Garden is especially nice. Here, even the little cyclists can unwind while watching the koi carp swim. The route continues through the small wooded area of Zeuthener Heide until it reaches Mittenwalder Straße. At the intersection of Seestraße and Ruppiner Straße, the Backstübchen Zeuthen is hiding. Should the family feel like ice cream or pastries, the 50-meter detour straight ahead on Seestraße can be warmly recommended.

At the Dussmann Villa at the end of Ruppiner Straße, we advise you to get off your bike and push along the promenade. The beautifully landscaped path and the view over the Dahme are worth it. A few minutes later, we reach the Eichwalde bathing meadow on Lake Zeuthen. Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) are regularly offered for rent here, so this trendy sport can be tried on site.

After the swimming fun, Eichwalde is explored by bike. Past the impressive water tower, which is privately inhabited, the bike tour takes us into the heart of Eichwalde. In the Bahnhofstraße, delicious ice cream specialties as well as various restaurants await hungry and thirsty cyclists. The brick architecture is more likely to please the sedate crowd. If necessary, the round can be ended here after a good 6 kilometers, the Eichwalde S-Bahn station is located directly on the route. If you continue, you will reach the Zeuthener Winkel after crossing the railroad line.

Here you can take a break at the playground. Via the quiet street Friesenstraße, the loop leads back to the start and finish. At the train station in Zeuthen there are both shopping and refreshment facilities.
