The Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park mostly consists of mixed deciduous and coniferous forests. This bicycle tour is all about the history and the stories behind these trees. Among the trees planted and raised by foresters, you will also see many crooked old trees showcasing their interesting long life. The tour can be started from Märkisch Buchholz or from Storkow. It is a circular tour that takes you via Prieros, Groß Schauen and Bugk, as well as via Groß Eichholz and Münchehofe.

  • Prieros: Organic garden, Heimathaus (local history museum) and Rundlingsdorf with old trees
  • Kolberg: Lakeside meadow on Lake Wolziger See
  • Groß Schauen: Heinz Sielmann Foundation, village green with half-timbered church
  • Storkow: Old Town with castle and drawbridge, Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park visitor centre
  • Hubertushöhe: Castle
  • Bugk: Rundlingsdorf
  • Kehrigk: Water tower with views
  • Münchehofe: Gläserne Molkerei dairy with rest area and farm shop

Conditions of the path: quiet roads, the Dahme Cycle Path is paved (Märkisch Buchholz to Prieros)
