One of the oldest churches in the county of Brandenburg is located in the middle of the historical centre of the village Deutsch Wusterhausen. The late romanisque fieldstone church was built in the middle of the 13th century and is surrounded by a characteristic fieldstone wall. Throughout the centuries the church underwent multiple alterations and repairs. The wooden tower above the west gable is a particularly distinctive feature. Inside the church there is a Sauer organ from the year 1967. One of the bronze church bells dates back to the 15th century. After an extensive renovation in the 1990s the church now functions as an active visiting location in the village.
