The Protestant church in Münchehofe is a simple, listed religious building with medieval origins. It is generally believed that the church was built as early as the 14th century, presumably on the foundations of an older Cistercian fieldstone building. In the mid-19th century, King Frederick William IV had the church renovated and designed the striking ridge turret with an open belfry, which still dominates the townscape today. Inside, a simple wooden ceiling, along with the altar, pulpit and baptismal font made of fieldstones, define the space. Particularly noteworthy are several historic epitaphs of various patron families at the rear of the church, as well as some old mulberry trees within the enclosure.
