The Church of Peace in Wildau was consecrated on 2 April 1911. The ensemble of church and vicarage was built according to the designs of the famous Art Nouveau architect Georg Büttner. The main reason for the construction of the church was the strong increase in the population of the village as a result of the relocation of the Schwartzkopff works in Berlin to Wildau, which also contributed to its construction and furnishing with large donations.

Thanks to the four high east windows, the church has a bright interior with an asymmetrically arranged side gallery and two round apses for the altar and baptismal font. It can seat 300 to 350 worshippers. On the main gallery is the Schuke organ, which dates back to the time when the church was built.

Four of the colourful altar windows show biblical scenes. The chancel, the baptistery, the wooden barrel vault and the galleries as well as the organ front are decorated with contemporary-style ornamental paintings.

The portal, restored in 2001, is unique. In the 43 metre high tower there are three bells and a – now electronically-controlled – clock with a four-sided dial.
