Sven Geislberger is one of the last of his kind – a master metalworker who has revived the dying craft of blacksmithing in Mittenwalde. With a great deal of passion and craftsmanship, he built his own rustic workshop stone by stone. In this special environment, artistic blacksmithing is combined with restoration in keeping with heritage standards: from artistically curved railings and historic lanterns to custom-made gates and window grilles, unique metalwork is created here. Using self-built tools, an anvil, a forge hammer and historic machines, each piece is 100% handmade. Those interested can get involved themselves in blacksmithing courses and experience one of the oldest crafts up close.
