The Honigschmiede is run by an amateur beekeeper. A variety of honey types are available each year.

The collaboration with local farmers is guided by the motto ‘Local is the first choice’. This ensures the production of natural and healthy honey. In addition to honey, beeswax candles, propolis, mead (honey wine), Bärenfang (honey liqueur) and raw wax are also available. The range can be purchased through several retail partners or at regional markets.

Courses offering an insight into beekeeping can be booked with the beekeeper. After the seminar, participants can take home a jar of the honey they have produced themselves. Visitors are asked to book in advance.

 


The beekeeper is a partner in the “Dahmeländer Stulle” collaboration project.
