Lake Krüpelsee is located east of Königs Wusterhausen and is surrounded by various town districts and a reed belt. The large number of private properties makes it difficult to reach from the shore. However, a few places on the lake are open to the public. Especially recommended is the shore fishing area in Kablow. In the west, Lake Krüpelsee merges into Lake Krimnicksee, and the narrow connection point between the two is a good place to fish. Both lakes together are about four kilometres long. The Dahme flows through them. Lake Krüpelsee is part of the federal waterway. Fishing from a boat is allowed.
