Lake Mielitzsee is a small fishing lake south of the village of Schwerin. In the west it merges into Lake Teupitz and is connected to Lake Schwerin via this lake. The lake is one of many in and around Teupitz and has a good stock of fish, especially whitefish, zander and eel. Fishing from a boat is allowed, provided that the boat is anchored or moored to the shore. All in all, the lake is very weedy, especially in summer, which makes fishing a challenge. The shore areas are only accessible in a few places and are very unspoilt.

  • Fish species: Especially good stock of zander, eel and whitefish. Pike, common bream, carp and catfish can also be caught here.
