Lake Motzen stretches from north to south. The lake is part of the Brandenburg waterway network and is connected to the Notte Canal via the Gallun Canal. In the east it is bordered by the village of Motzen, and in the west by the village of Kallinchen. The shore development is relatively dense, and there is also a reed belt. For this reason, suitable angling spots are difficult to reach, and fishing from a boat is recommended. Two elevations in the lake are particularly suitable for predatory fishing. Rowing boats can be hired from the Fischerei Kallinchen. It also has parking spaces.
