The certified poetry educator and landscape guide offers natural history walks with creative writing sessions. Nature has always inspired people to be creative. With poems, stories, sagas and myths, participants learn how to access landscape history through their senses on a walk and can set off to discover the natural history phenomena of the “sandpit of Brandenburg”, as it used to be known.

Depending on interests and fitness level, various activities are available, from fairy-tale walks for families over a distance of about five kilometres and the discovery of the vineyard and the cemetery in Gräbendorf through walks to the “Philosophers’ Stone” covering eight kilometres to full writing and walking trips through the sandy landscape. Kirsten Heidler also teaches the techniques of creative writing at special seminars.
