This circular walk takes you from Münchehofe to Miethsluch. On the way you will encounter green valleys, sandy hills and damp meadows. With a bit of luck, you may see sand lizards, mother-of-pearl butterflies and the Great Darter dragonfly.

Start/finish: Münchehofe

How to get there:

Train/public transport: from Berlin central station take the RE2 towards Cottbus as far as Königs Wusterhausen, change to the RB24 towards Senftenberg as far as Halbe, from Halbe Goetheplatz continue with bus 725 as far as Münchehofe

Please note: The bus runs Monday to Friday (not public holidays).

Car: from the direction of Berlin, take the A13 towards Dresden, Teupitz exit, continue on the L74 past Haklbe and Märkisch Buchholz to Münchehofe

Parking spaces are available at the village square in Bugk. 

Route: Münchehofe, Miethsluch in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park, Münchehofe

Outdoor experience: 

Municipality of Münchehofe, the vineyard, hidden dunes, variety of animals and plants in the Miethsluch

Trail conditions/surface: The routes are all easy to walk and flat.

  • Circular walk to the Waltersberge inland dune
  • Circular walk – Bugk and its Sahara
