The diverse hiking route runs through forests, swamplands and past the lakes Motzener See, Töpchinersee and Zemminsee. This section of the E10 is in part identical with the Fontane Hiking Trail and it can be conveniently combined with the hike around the lake Klein Köriser See. Rest areas and eateries are available for breaks.

from Kallinchen (at the lake Motzener See towards Motzen) or from Motzen - bus stop Fontaneklinik - turn left into Waldstrasse towards the Fontaneklinik - Lake Töpchiner See with rest areas - district forester’s office Motzen - turn left into the forest, about 100 metres after the district forester’s office - about 2 kilometres through the forest towards Groß Köris - paved path on the left - Rankenheim village - turn right into Gartenstrasse - wooden bridge across the stream - Lake Zemminsee - path along the motorway A13 until you reach Rankenheimer Strasse / Berliner Strasse - turn left into Berliner Strasse - Groß Köris train station
