The hiking route presents the Dahme meadows between Oderin and Märkisch Buchholz. Lake Oderin is experienced on both the west and east sides. A significant part of the hike crosses the Mahnigsee-Dahmetal nature reserve, with the original course of the Dahme usually visible in the background.

The landscape is varied. Floodplain forest, wet meadows, pine forest and bodies of water are all present. At Lake Oderin you can swim at natural bathing spots. The route has been documented as part of a LIFE project by the Brandenburg Nature Conservation Fund Foundation.

Start / Finish: Oderin railway station

Route: Oderin railway station - Oderin Lake (west) - L74 road - Oderin Lake (east) - Oderin railway station

Arrival and departure by public transport: Regional train RB to Oderin
