Start/finish: Wernsdorf

Route: Wernsdorf lock - along the canal - two pedestrian bridges - road 791 - road 790 - forest path - Eichwalder Strasse - livestock track - path through the Luch - turn right along the recultivated waste disposal site - forest path to the starting point of the hike

How to get there by public transport: From Zeuthen or Königs Wusterhausen train station by bus to Wernsdorf Schleuse

Description of the route: The circular hiking trail first goes along a charming stretch along the Oder-Spree Canal. Watching the boat traffic on the canal and at the lock is interesting. Two pedestrian bridges connect the Oder-Spree Canal with Wernsdorfer See and a branch canal. The bridges can only be used by hikers and are crossed during the hike. An interesting passage is the stretch between the renatured landfill and the lake shore in the nature conservation and FFH area Wernsdorfer See.
