This wonderful hike is also an experience in the cold season. On the way, there are always beautiful views of the wintry river Dahme and the nature on its banks. In Zeuthen, the trail leads through the Höllengrund, a strikingly incised valley channel through which the Ebbegraben meanders. As a nature reserve, it is a retreat for plants and animals that have become rare. A rapid toboggan run can be experienced with your own sledge from the Pulverberg. Now the terrain gradually changes into a park landscape - you have reached the Wildau Kurpark. Strolling through Wildau, you approach the Schwartzkopff-Siedlung. The factory housing estate on the banks of the Dahme was built as an exemplary housing estate for the workers of BMAG, the third largest locomotive manufacturer in the German Empire around 1900. Today, as a complex with the former industrial halls, it is a prime example of the restoration of historic industrial architecture in keeping with the preservation order.
