The hike combines the typical field and meadow landscape with the canal Nottekanal and the historic coal mine settlement in Schenkendorf. The hike starts at the fieldstone church in the centre of Schenkendorf and leads to the canal. Along this small river, the trail heads towards Mittenwalde before turning off into the fields. At the Pritzelgraben, it returns to the starting point.
